I got my first silver male poodle
back in 1972, and this dwarf male
became very dear to me. His
name was Clipperline Nicko Silver Boy.
Later, I got a few black miniatures, as: N.S.Ch.Beritas
Belafonte,
N.Ch.Lilleba's Bavel Breda and N.Ch.Lilleba's
Midnight Playboy, but my
heart belonged to silver, and i purchased
a silver miniature female from
Mrs. Kathleen A Brown, she arrived in 1972,
Char-K Kimberly was her
name. She was the first silver miniature
poodle to come to Norway from
USA, together with Int.Nord.Ch.Junipers
Hello World, that my friend
purchased from Mrs. June Bierwas.
Later, I got from Mrs. Monique Devine in
USA: Freeland Fretwell
D'Manorhil, silver miniature male, and
also Int.N.Ch.Freeland's Floodlight,
silver miniature male. Freeland Fretwell
D'Manorhill was sire of champions
and Int. N.Ch.Freeland's Floodlight sired
10 champions in Europe, and I
have now his grandchildren to continue
my future breeding.
At the moment I have five poodles, three
silver dwarfs, and two
miniatures.
I go to shows now and then, and have a
litter of puppies about every
second year, or sometimes longer intervals
in between. I groom my own
dogs, and do also groom for other people.
My interest is working with
pedigrees, and I have a database of
70 000 poodles, all sizes. I am constantly
looking for missing names, and
if anyone have the same hobby, please contact
me. Scandinavian poodles before 1970 are of special interest to me.
I am at the moment making a history page
about my dogs here:
