About Silver Poodle Info issue and Silver
Poodle Info web page.

The first silver-info issue
was published in 1997.
It was made from an idea by
Linda Gravesen, Denmark, and myself. The magazine then, contents about
100 five generations pedigrees of live silver poodles in all sizes
from Europe. My plan was to follow up with another issue in 1999.
Instead I have built a web page with
pedigrees and pictures. By this time, (November-2000) I have pedigrees of about
200 live silvers, all sizes. I will update the web page as often as owners give
green light to put their dogs up. I collect poodle pedigrees, and especially old
pedigrees.
I hope to get pedigrees from
silver poodle owners all over the world, send me by e-mail, or by post,
- everything you have of silver pedigrees (or other colours), is of value.
Since we now can travel in all EU-countries in Europe with our dogs, it
will be easier to use silver males from those places.
Please, do send female pedigrees
as well, because silver breeders need to get in contact, and exchange puppies
from time to time. To have your silver poodle pedigrees on
my web site, costs nothing.
If you have a picture of your
dog, I would love to put it together with the pedigree. If you have PRA
or at least carriers in your pedigrees, as we all have within 5 generations,
please mark the names, (doccumented cases only), so we do not need to double
up with the same dogs in coming generations. This would, if you know of
them, be of great help for future breeding.
( Later: We have got the PRCD- pra test, that is
great ! I think that is the most common PRA type in poodles.) If you are a silver poodle

June 2000, The
Silver Poodle Info page started.
April 2001: I have in mind
to start info about other colours as well.
This takes a lot of time,
and it will cost a little, for 5 generation pedigree with or without picture.

July 2001: The Silver
Poodle Info
has turned to be Poodle Info.

May 2002: Poodle Info has started
to list prcd-PRA checked poodles, all info welcome from the owners. I will
also try to make a site for all poodles with PRA, it has to be confirmed,
either by published info,or directly from the owners. It is for the benefit
of the breed to be openminded about this.
August 2006: Poodle Info have
for some time now put up prcd- PRA tested dogs from Optigen. and for the
time beeing, the listed (old) dogs with PRA is removed.
January 2007: Video links is added to
www.poodleinfo.no
August 2007: Brag About site is added to
www.poodleinfo.no
September 2007: Poodle of the Month started
in August 2007 in the overview site at
www.poodleinfo.no
